物化性质: 无色六方结晶。无臭无味。相对密度２．６７９；有吸潮性。 溶于乙醚等溶剂中，不溶于 醇。在酸中的溶解度比水中大。在碱液中分解，生成氟化钠及二氧化硅。灼热（３００°C） 后，分解成氟化钠和四氟化硅。有毒！

产品用途: 木材工业中作防腐剂；耐酸水泥的吸湿剂。用作玻璃和搪瓷的乳白剂；农药工业中用于制造 杀虫剂；天然乳胶制品中用作凝固剂 、电镀锌、镍、 铁三元镀层中用作添加剂，还用作塑料 填充剂。此外，还用于制药和饮用水的氟化处理，及制造人造冰晶石的氟化钠。
